The best thing I did for me in this space, 

to take myself off the pedestal,

another girl to you,

another girl on your list,

it’s not me it’s you 

The likes, the back and forth, 

inconsistent and confusing,

it’s not me it’s you,

i’m not the one for you,

what a relief that is!

to think i almost thought the best you could’ve given was crumbs,

but that’s only because you’re a revolving door, 

wanting to see how many girls you can hold,

passing through your life,

none which have found somewhere to lay down,

never the one for you
